Good information is easier to use when its source and scope remain visible.
Our news sources
The news stream discovers BYD reports through public topic feeds from CnEVPost, Electrek, CarNewsChina and The Driven. Short entries retain the original headline, publisher, date and link.
What the labels mean
“Media report” identifies an external publisher’s coverage. An official source is identified when the original material is from BYD. Owner accounts are personal experiences; they are not universal findings.
Editorial work and updates
Our own articles add context and link their supporting material. We identify relevant model, market and version details when available. We distinguish the source’s publication date from our editorial review date.
News discovery can run automatically. Some news articles, owner reading selections and answers may be prepared with AI assistance and automated checks. Each automated article identifies this process and links to its source. An unavailable feed does not mean its publisher has no news, and does not erase previously available content.
Corrections
If a source changes or something needs correction, send the page URL and the details. We review substantive changes rather than refreshing dates to make old material look new.
